A constructed intimacy…

FIVE APARTMENTS

Every meeting is unique

Can intimacy be constructed? Can the authentic rise in an artificial setting? Is there any such a thing as ‘forced intimacy’? These questions are raised by the artists involved in the Five Apartments experiment. Vulnerability is at the core of the art-piece. As a part of the series of performance-installations Five Apartments, which will take place from the 26th-30th of March 2014, talented young photographer Fryd Frydendahl, who is located in both New York and Copenhagen, has shot a series of portraits. The portraits illustrate the dynamic field between the authentic and the fake.
